Moved home? Update your registered address

Changing the address on a delivery app does not update your immigration record. Make official address reporting an early part of your moving checklist.

Check where to report

  • Contact 1345 or the new neighbourhood office to confirm your reporting route and deadline.
  • Available channels can depend on residence status; check before assuming an online service covers you.
  • If you have a domestic residence report status, ask specifically which rules apply to that document.

Prepare proof of the new home

  • Have your residence identification and the new address written in full, including the unit number.
  • Ask whether your lease, dormitory confirmation or accommodation-provider document is acceptable.
  • Keep copies of submitted documents and the reporting confirmation.

Update the rest of your life

  • Notify your school or employer, bank, insurer and mobile provider separately where required.
  • Check which address will receive important paper notices.
  • Keep the moving date recorded so you can explain when the change took place.

A little Korean goes a long way

  • 체류지 변경 신고를 하려고 해요. — I would like to report a change of residence.
  • 새 주소는 여기예요. — This is my new address.
